Welcome to the Engineering Graduate Program at Mollie in Milan!
At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. We serve more than 250,000 businesses across Europe with an all-in-one solution that simplifies payments and money management. Our engineering team is part of a 1,000‑strong group of product, finance, support, commerce, and engineering specialists working across Europe – from Lisbon to London and Milan.
What you'll be doing
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code in programming languages such as PHP, Java or Python
- Collaborate with other experienced engineers to design, develop, and test new features and enhancements for our platform
- Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and ensure that our technology remains secure and up to date
- Participate in code reviews and continuously optimise our code base
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to complex problems
- Collaborate, learn from and share knowledge with your colleagues to enhance your skills and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a 2025 or 2026 graduation date
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as PHP, Java or Python
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

- Additional technical or behavioural assessment if required
