Role Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced International Trade Marketing Director to lead the trade marketing strategy and execution across international markets. This role is pivotal in elevating the in-store experience, driving regional activations, and ensuring seamless alignment with our global brand vision across department stores, distributors, and independent perfumeries throughout Europe and Asia.


Key Responsibilities


  • Regional Trade Marketing & In-Store Execution
  • Own and execute all international trade marketing activity across department stores, niche retailers, and distributor-supported locations
  • Lead in-store pop-ups, promotional sites, CTUs, play tables, and VM displays from concept to execution
  • Localise global retail assets and campaign guidelines for each regional market


POS Asset & Stock Management


  • Oversee all POS materials across international markets, including testers, sampling tools, visuals, printed collateral, and packaging
  • Coordinate timely distribution of POS to all retail doors in collaboration with operations
  • Manage POS inventory and vendor relationships for local production when needed


Retail Partner Support


  • Partner with international account managers, retail partners, and distributors to plan and execute in-store promotional opportunities
  • Pitch branded activation ideas and in-store moments to retail teams and buyers
  • Ensure brand consistency and premium presentation across all touchpoints globally


Event Planning & Execution


  • Lead all in-store events and customer experiences across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
  • Plan and execute retailer and influencer-led events in collaboration with PR and sales
  • Ensure activations deliver brand awareness, local relevance, and content creation


PR & Influencer Marketing (International)


  • Execute regional PR and influencer marketing activities based on clear guidelines provided by the Global Marketing Director
  • Manage local seeding and gifting for campaigns in collaboration with PR agency or internal teams
  • Support relationship building with international influencers and media
  • Ensure timely delivery of assets, gifting, and content tied to major launches and campaigns


Team Leadership


  • Manage the International Marketing Manager or any regional trade marketing support
  • Oversee campaign timelines, asset delivery, and communications between Milan, global HQ, and retail partners
  • Provide regional leadership with a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on execution


Retail Reporting & Merchandising Standards


  • Conduct and coordinate regular store audits to ensure visual merchandising compliance
  • Lead post-activation reporting for trade events and in-store campaigns
  • Track and analyse regional performance to identify opportunities and refine execution


Qualifications & Experience


  • Experience in trade marketing or field marketing in fragrance only
  • Proven experience managing in-store activations, events, and POS asset deployment
  • Strong understanding of the international luxury retail landscape, particularly across Europe and Asia
  • Experience managing PR and influencer activities in global or regional markets
  • Leadership experience, including managing junior team members and external vendors
  • Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on, execution-driven capabilities
