Position Overview

This position is responsible for leading and developing the CP business strategy together with the VP of Global Strategic Marketing, evaluating the CP business product portfolio, and ensuring that the right strategic initiatives are launched to achieve CP’s business objectives. The role will oversee the CP disposables and non-cardiac product lines, manage full product life‑cycle responsibilities, and report directly to the VP GSM.

Key Responsibilities

Global Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with company objectives for disposable and non-HLM product lines.
  • Support the creation and communication of the CP strategic plan.
  • Ensure the execution of the portfolio roadmap in collaboration with R&D.
  • Drive brand positioning and messaging to establish a strong market presence.
  • Ensure early marketing assessment for innovation opportunities and implement marketing deliverables within the innovation framework.

Product Launches

  • Accountable for the successful launch of new product introductions with effective global go‑to‑market strategies, positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional and regional teams to coordinate launches and marketing campaigns.

Market Analysis And Competitive Activities

  • Identify market research needs and define relevant research projects.
  • Utilize research to guide product development and enhance marketing strategies.
  • Drive competitive monitoring and response messaging to support the global sales force.
  • Own the global marketing data framework to provide relevant market data for deliverables.

Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders globally.
  • Develop targeted marketing programs to engage and educate customers, creating brand loyalty and advocacy.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with regional marketing teams for consistent messaging and execution of global initiatives.
  • Work cross‑functionally with R&D, regulatory, OPS, and Quality teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.

Team Management

  • Build and manage a high‑performing marketing team based on LivaNova MVP principles.
  • Ensure high‑level market, customer, and product knowledge within the team.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage a marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently to implement annual plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement.

Knowledge And Skills Required

  • Proven track record of successful product launches and brand building.
  • Experience leading and managing marketing or business teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; proven ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving attitude.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to design and execute marketing strategy.
  • Proven project management leadership skills.
  • Results oriented.

Educational Background

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Marketing/Sales within Med Tech or pharmaceuticals.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or health science is desired.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
