Job Description
The Next Global Service Director, reporting to the CEO, will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Oversee and coordinate Service operations across the Division worldwide, ensuring effective resource deployment and the prioritization of key programs.
- Shape the strategic direction, long‑term roadmap, and overall performance of the Division's Service portfolio.
- Guide strategic Service Sales management, business development, and the evolution of the Service offering within the Division, ensuring successful roll‑out across Regions and Countries.
- Define, harmonize, and supervise Service objectives, frameworks, procedures, methodologies, and supporting tools.
- Design and govern global pricing models across services and regions to fully capture revenue and profitability opportunities.
- Promote the exchange of practices and drive Service excellence initiatives, such as cross‑selling, through the deployment of advanced processes and modern operating methods.
- Act as the primary ambassador for the Service organization toward customers, the broader company network, and external stakeholders, safeguarding long‑term partnerships.
- Foster tight alignment and collaboration with Regional and Country Service teams, as well as with Service functions in other Divisions, maintaining continuous cooperation with peers.
- Lead and coordinate a team of senior leaders, enabling cohesive execution and high‑impact delivery.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Service Director, ideally holding a Master's degree in Engineering and preferably an MBA, should bring 10+ years of direct experience in Service within a global matrix environment, with a proven track record, managing complex, multinational sales and on field organizations.
A solid background in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, or Food Processing Equipment industries is essential.
The ideal profile combines strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. An analytical approach, including the ability to interpret business performance data and translate insights into concrete actions, is highly valued.
Fluency in English and proficiency in an additional European language are considered strong assets.
The role also requires a regular on‑site presence in North‑East Italy.
