About the Role
Based in Alba (CN) , the Global Professional Maintenance Manager leads our Professional Maintenance central team and is responsible for the development and deployment of Ferrero Operational Excellence (FOX) methodologies related to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and, with a focus on the Preventive Maintenance (PM) pillar, across our global industrial network. The role coordinates and drives internal and external best practices, continuous improvement, and workshops with related industrial functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Become the change agent, fostering the operational excellence culture through TPM/WCM and a Preventive, Predictive, and Reliability Centered Maintenance strategy.
- Support the team manager in coordinating among central Operation Performance teams and partner functions (Health & Safety, Food Safety & Quality, Engineering, People & Organization, etc.) to ensure coherence with PM FOX principles, methodologies, and Ferrero Governance, Risk and Compliance procedures.
- Develop, improve PM methodologies and related procedures.
- Create, update, and standardize training materials; define PM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Activity Indicators (KAIs) and set related targets at Group and Area levels.
- Coach and support Plant Maintenance Managers on PM methodologies, leveraging the train-the-trainer concept.
- Consolidate, at the group level, the progress of PM global and local initiatives, training, workshop sessions, audits/assessments, and results to improve Overall Asset Effectiveness (OAE) and competitive performance against global benchmarks.
- Assess and validate the maturity of PM implementation and collaborate with AM (Autonomous Maintenance) to adopt local practices through audit/assessment plans.
- Drive internal and external best practices cross‑fertilization, continuous improvement, and workshops.
- Foster the culture of continuous improvement as a change agent.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with 10+ years of experience managing a maintenance department and a deep understanding of industrial processes.
- Strong technical skills and expertise in TPM, WCM or Lean Manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering OEE improvement.
- Ability to co‑coordinate professional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and excellence.
- Proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective communication, change‑agent mindset, and leadership skills to influence, coach and train different levels of the organization globally.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Business trips will be around 50%.
