Overview
Videojet Technologies is a world leader in the product identification market, providing in-line printing, coding and marking products, consumables, and software solutions. Videojet’s technologies play a critical role in ensuring the safety and authenticity of products sold across the globe in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial marketplaces. This hybrid role requires frequent presence in the nearest Videojet office and involves international travel (up to 25%).
In this role you will
- Lead global pricing strategy and execution in alignment with overall commercial objectives.
- Strengthen pricing discipline and performance across markets by supporting and challenging commercial leaders.
- Design and implement internal, data-driven pricing tools (e.g., price waterfall, price variance analysis, global growth room for price impact).
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategic pricing countermeasures for pricing gaps.
- Build and govern pricing frameworks, processes, and training to elevate pricing maturity.
- Collaborate with Product Management to maximise value pricing and price realisation.
- Lead and develop a team of pricing and data management professionals.
- Partner with regional and country-level commercial teams to tailor pricing strategies to local market dynamics.
- Define and manage global pricing governance, including CPQ setup, discount corridors, and escalation processes.
- Analyse and report pricing KPIs and trends to senior leadership.
- Drive adoption of Price Waterfall methodology globally.
- Develop scalable tools for price monitoring and impact modelling using ERP data.
- Collaborate with IT to harmonise pricing-relevant data across systems.
- Provide strategic coaching on pricing execution, segmentation, and value-based pricing.
- Guide pricing strategy during annual financial planning and ensure smooth regional execution.
Essential requirements
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management in B2B industrial / manufacturing.
- Proven team leadership experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple ERP systems.
- Proven expertise in Price Waterfall methodology and B2B pricing models.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or internal platforms; pricing software experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
