Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies to drive the growth of the Advanced Tissue Technologies business.
  • Present pipeline strategies, business cases, and innovation opportunities to C-suite and Board-level stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
  • Build consensus and alignment across executive leadership on marketing priorities, timelines, and investments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in all commercial discussions related to wound care innovation.
  • Lead complex, multi-market programme launches, ensuring readiness across clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and accountability across a matrixed global organisation, fostering high performance and clarity of execution.
  • Monitor KPIs and milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to strategic objectives.
  • Identify and validate global market trends, unmet needs, and opportunity spaces in wound care.
  • Conduct rigorous global market assessment to shape value propositions, positioning, and segmentation.
  • Champion voice-of-customer insight integration throughout the development cycle.
  • Develop launch forecasts, business cases, commercialisation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive launch excellence for new products globally - incl pre-launch planning, messaging, positioning, and competitive readiness.
  • Coordinate with regional partners to ensure a flawless alignment between Local markets needs and the innovation roadmap.
  • Serve as the commercial voice within cross-functional development teams to ensure pipeline relevance and market fit.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, clinical, and R&D teams to align marketing strategy with product timelines.
  • Champion Launch Excellence Process globally.
  • Build strong Global Marketing and Launch plans and coordinate the Local marketing plans.
  • Build marketing toolkits globally for local deployment, in coordination with the Digital Marcom team.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage effective interaction and relationships with outside agencies and vendors.
  • Develop field execution tools and sales aids that help sales representatives effectively deliver the appropriate innovation messages.
  • Develop and execute sales training materials to enable superior field execution and delivery of innovation value messages.
  • Consolidate the local market needs for competitive rebuttal, and commercial / incremental innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Align with regional marketing and sales leaders to ensure consistent execution and adaptability of global strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs, advocacy groups, and strategic partners to amplify market readiness.

People leadership and Budget Management

  • Manage matrixed resources as needed and leverage regional resources to scale efforts globally.
  • Oversee budget planning and ROI tracking for all marketing programmes under pipeline delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive experience in global marketing within MedTech, wound care, or adjacent healthcare sectors.
  • Understand intimately the Advanced Tissue Technologies and AWC Customers and Consumers: Nurses, Physicians, Patients, Purchasers, including Regulatory and Market access / Reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated success leading global product launches.
  • Significant experience delivering through a matrix in a multinational environment, aligning diverse stakeholders to common goals.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate with C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Commercial acumen and scientific literacy to translate complex innovation into customer-relevant strategies.
  • Strong business case development, scenario planning, and strategic insight capability.
  • Proven track record in advanced wound care incl biologics and new technologies.
  • Previous experience in hospital complex sale process.
  • Previous experience in community channel sale process.
  • Masters degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or life sciences) strongly preferred.
