The successful candidate will join the Global Legal and General Affairs Department of the Menarini Group, and will be part of the Business, Administrative and Antitrust area. Job location will be in Florence (Italy) at the Menarini Group Headquarters.
The Global Legal Manager plays an essential role in providing professional legal support for the development and management of the Menarini Group business activities worldwide.
He/She will be responsible for providing top-level professional legal advice and for the drafting and review of a variety of legal documents, while ensuring at all times the legal protection of the Menarini Group companies and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and the Menarini Group policies.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of domestic and international contracts in support of the Menarini Group's activities for the development and commercialization of its products portfolio in the oncology, pharma, IVD/MD and aesthetic sector (confidentiality agreements, license and distribution agreements, research and funding agreements, service agreements, ancillary documents for the contractualisation of business arrangements).
Provide legal assistance for the management of the inbound and outbound supply chain and of the Menarini Group real estate portfolio necessary to conduct the business operations (drafting and negotiation of manufacturing and supply agreements, logistics and warehousing, lease and tenancy agreements for office and manufacturing facilities, construction and turnkey contracts).
Provide timely and practical legal advice to various business units, on a broad range of legal matters, including third‑party seizure procedures and assignment of debts and credits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Support internal AI legal projects and cross‑functional initiatives, working closely with other members of the legal team to ensure effective implementation.
Oversee litigation proceedings in collaboration with external counsels.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Law degree; bar admission is a plus.
5/8 years’ experience gained within a top-tier law firm and/or the legal department of a leading national or multinational company; previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) with good legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and to manage multiple projects independently under tight deadlines.
Business-oriented mindset with a pragmatic and solution‑driven approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The selected candidate will be employed under Category A in accordance with the provisions of the current National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, including all applicable contractual and remuneration terms, and in compliance with Legislative Decree No. 96/2026.
