Global Data Protection and Information Security Manager (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s Data Protection Management System (DPMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) at global level.
- Lead the embedding of global data protection and information security policies, ensuring clear understanding and effective implementation across all countries.
- Design and roll out new global tools, frameworks, and standardized processes to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
- Provide training, coaching, and functional support to local data protection and InfoSec specialists.
- Monitor corrective actions resulting from assessments and audits, supporting investigations of potential compliance breaches and preparation of incident reports when required.
- Implement and maintain global KPI tracking to measure performance and drive continuous optimization initiatives.
- Serve as the global point of reference for all data protection and information security matters, fostering collaboration and best‑practice sharing within global communities.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate IT, Corporate Data Protection and InfoSec functions, and other global departments (e.g., Marketing, HR, Health & Safety) to ensure seamless integration of DP and InfoSec into overall company processes; support Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) projects as needed.
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in Law or any comparable discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in data protection, information security, or a closely related field.
- Excellent knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
