We have partnered with a leading Italian Nutraceutical Ingredient Manufacturer to recruit for a Global Business Development Manager – (Remote with International Travel). This strategic commercial role is responsible for expanding global market presence, building partnerships with top nutraceutical brands, and driving the commercial success of a highly innovative bioactives portfolio.


As Global Business Development Manager, you will shape international sales strategy, open new markets, and position the company’s science-backed bioactives across dietary supplements, functional foods, beauty-from-within, and health & wellness categories.



Key Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7–12+ years of global commercial experience in nutraceuticals, bioactives, natural extracts, or health ingredients.
  • Strong track record of securing partnerships with supplement brands, contract manufacturers, or functional food companies.
  • Deep understanding of the global nutraceutical landscape, including regulatory trends and market dynamics.
  • Experience managing distributors, agents, and multi-region customer networks.
  • Strong international negotiation skills and proven ability to drive strategic commercial initiatives.
  • Fluent in English; Italian proficiency is a strong plus.




Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute a global business development strategy to expand market reach across Europe, North America, APAC, and LATAM.
  • Identify and secure new business with supplement brands, formulators, and innovation-driven CPG companies.
  • Manage global distribution partners, ensuring performance, alignment, and market penetration.
  • Lead commercial presentations, value-proposition development, and solution-based selling for bioactive ingredients.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, and marketing to support customer projects and product launches.
  • Monitor global market trends, competitive activity, and emerging scientific opportunities.
  • Represent the company at key trade shows, scientific conferences, and international customer meetings.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
