Meaningful Work From Day One

The Global Brand Director, Gins & Diplomatic is the chief steward of Brown-Forman’s Gin and Rum brands, responsible for their short-term and long-term performance, measured by market share, revenue, earnings growth, and the strengthening of the consumer franchise. This global leadership role is a key member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, senior commercial leaders, distillery teams, R&D, and the B-F Executive Leadership Team.

What You Can Expect

  • Leading the development and deployment of the Gin and Rum portfolio’s global growth strategy, including assessing and evolving the four strategic pillars: Portfolio, Geography / Channel, Organization, and Investment.
  • Leading and developing a team of 7 cross-functional employees, including global advocacy, brand ambassadors, PR Managers, and global brand managers.
  • Overseeing the development of all global creative assets, programs, and managing associated agencies.
  • Developing strategies for all key Gin and Rum brands, including portfolio, advertising, experiential marketing, visual assets, and support materials.
  • Protecting the intellectual property and reputation of relevant trademarks.
  • Driving brand and product innovation initiatives aligned with portfolio strategies and governed by Stage and Gate processes and BFC guidelines.
  • Leading the brand-specific components of the Gin and Diplomatic Rum Supply and Demand Planning process.
  • Serving as the primary global contact for our Gin and Diplomatico rum partners.
  • Contributing as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team to enhance Brown-Forman’s marketing capabilities and develop marketing talent worldwide.

What You Bring to the Table

  • At least 12 years of consumer goods marketing experience, including global strategy development for leading brands and building consumer franchises with significant growth.
  • Successful management of marketing budgets and teams.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders at all organizational levels within a multinational company.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a proven track record of delivering results and making enterprise-level decisions.
  • Expertise in marketing principles and brand growth strategies, with the ability to communicate these clearly to ensure adoption and execution.
  • Experience managing global creative and media agencies.
  • Strategic leadership across various marketing disciplines.
  • Leadership in large-scale innovation, change management projects, and initiatives.
  • Ability to inspire brand teams to implement creative visions.

What Makes You Unique

  • Experience in beverage alcohol and luxury goods is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading premium Gin and Rum brands is also preferred.
