Geospatial Engineer

Piper Maddox are working on behalf of a leading provider of climate data and analytics that are seeking to expand their Earth Observation team.

Your responsibilities:

• Build new and improve existing geospatial pipelines that process satellite data.
• Develop scripts for the analysis, and delivery of Earth Observation products.
• Work closely with your internal delivery teams to implement customer requirements.
• Collaborate with your internal engineering and product team to transform source data into actionable insights.

Your experience:

• 1-3yrs experience working with GIS, Earth Observation, or other relatable technologies.
• Competency in Python.
• Competency in cloud engineering tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS etc).
• Competency with automation tools.
• An understanding/interest in climate resilience.
• Fluency in English.

Please note that this a remote position but the ideal candidate would be based in England, Portugal, Italy, or Germany.
