We are seeking an experienced Web Geospatial Developer with strong expertise in Python, Django, and JavaScript to design, develop, and maintain advanced web applications. The role involves working with geospatial data, integrating large language models (LLMs) for virtual assistants, and ensuring high-quality standards in web development.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python (Django) and JavaScript (React is a strong advantage).
• Manage and integrate geospatial data using open data formats.
• Develop back-end procedures and software with a focus on scalability and security.
• Integrate LLMs with additional modules to deliver outputs beyond plain text.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
• Apply best practices in web application security, session management, and performance optimization.
• Produce clear, structured technical documentation and participate in technical meetings.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree or equivalent (5 years of higher education) plus at least 5 years of professional experience in Web Geospatial Development.
• Minimum 3 years of specific expertise in Python (Django) and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Solid understanding of website design, creation, and maintenance.
• Experience in business process modelling (UML, BPMN) is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
