Cascina Cipressa is an agriturismo near San Miniato with an active wine and oil farm, accommodations and restaurant Cipressino. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Agritourism Manager to lead the operation and management of the entire agriturismo. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, supervising the staff and optimising the services offered, ensuring high quality standards at all times. The management of the agricultural part and the restaurant directly report to you. We are looking for someone who is willing to get involved and wants to grow the business.

Coordinate and supervise the three departments (guest house, restaurant, agriculture); Manage staff: shifts, performance, motivation; Control costs, budget and profitability of the facility; Manage budgets and prioritise investment requirements; Guarantee compliance with quality standards and regulations (HACCP, safety); Represent the agriturismo with customers, suppliers, professional clients and local stakeholders; Promote the three departments, both off-line and on-line; Establish recurring selling lines of wines and olive oil, both in Italy and abroad; Timely reporting to the international shareholders; Identify new business opportunities to diversify the type of tourism.

Responsabilità

• Past experience in the management of accommodation facilities;
• Skills in management, administration, finance management and operations;
• Excellent time management, problem solving and leadership skills, with a practical and detail-oriented approach;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer and service orientation;
• Experienced people manager capable of managing a team of about 12 people, supporting department managers in managing staff and planning operational activities;
• Stress resistant, able to act quickly in a dynamic environment;
• Italian speaking, fluent knowledge of at least English;
• Familiarity with hospitality management software;
• Lead operational meetings and reports, providing feedback and solutions to improve processes;
• Hands-on mentality, this is not an office job – a substantial part of the time should be spent talking to guests, checking all parts of the property, and be visible and approachable to the team. Full immersion into daily operations is essential.
