Pre-Opening Luxury Lodge in the Dolomites

The Sonnwies Hotel Group is opening a new, exclusive luxury lodge with 24 suites in the heart of the Dolomites in autumn 2026. This intimate property will redefine contemporary alpine luxury through exceptional design, highly personalized service, and an authentic connection to the Dolomites.

For this unique pre-opening project, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate hospitality professional to join us as General Manager .

In this key leadership role, you will take full responsibility for the successful opening of the property as well as its operational and financial performance. Working closely with the owning family, you will build and inspire a dedicated team, establish exceptional service and quality standards, and create an outstanding guest experience that meets the expectations of an international luxury clientele.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire pre-opening phase through to a successful launch
• Overall responsibility for the hotel’s daily operations
• Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
• Oversee budgets, financial performance, and key operational metrics
• Ensure exceptional service quality and operational excellence
• Work closely with the owning family on the strategic development of the property

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Director of Operations within the luxury or boutique hospitality sector
• Previous experience with hotel openings or pre-opening projects is highly desirable
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands‑on approach and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Fluent in English, German and Italian, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
