We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Italy business - a strategically important operation with a strong team and significant untapped growth potential. This is a unique opportunity to drive transformation, accelerate growth, and shape strategy in one of Europe’s most dynamic and regulated agricultural markets, focused on high-value specialty crops.
The Role
You will have full ownership of the Italian business, with responsibility for:
- Defining and delivering the local growth strategy aligned to Europe
- Owning the P&L, driving revenue, profitability, and market share
- Expanding existing accounts and developing new customers and segments
- Leading and developing a high-performing team (~70 employees)
- Strengthening customer relationships and market positioning
- Driving operational excellence across planning, supply, and execution
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in the agrochemical/agriculture sector
- Proven success in senior commercial or country leadership roles
- Strong P&L management and growth delivery experience
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and lead change
- Fluent Italian and English
- Willingness to travel (~50%)
