JOB SCOPE
To manage within the company’s policies and procedures to ensure guest experience satisfaction, profit maximization and strong commercial performance . Liaise with external parties to market and develop company business opportunities. Ensure the improvement and implementation of enhanced services and operational policies. Provide overall leadership; recognize and motivate team members.
Drive business growth, profitability, and turnaround initiatives for the Italy market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Vice President to establish and ensure adherence to core work processes that drive business innovation, enhance brand differentiation and foster market development
- Lead and manage the country team to ensure that business unit operations and Company service standards are adhered to
- Oversee upcoming projects of operating new businesses to ensure successful delivery within timeline and approved budget
- Focus on revenue growth, maximize financial performance and implement cost control measures effectively and continually
- Be responsible for improvements and/or implementation of new services and operational policies
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality
- Forge strong relationships with corporate clients and airlines for business development
- Liaise with external parties including airport authorities on new lounge opportunities
- Monitor and report on market activities and raise the profile of the Company through networking and business development
- Full P&L ownership and accountability for the Italy market
- Drive revenue growth through strong commercial strategy and execution
- Identify and execute turnaround initiatives for underperforming or loss-making outlets
- Lead sales, partnerships, and business development initiatives across the country
- Improve profitability through cost optimization and revenue enhancement strategies
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations, Culinary (F&B), and HR to ensure smooth lounge operations and commercial performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in hospitality or business administration related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in hospitality industry of which 10 years at senior management level; experience in F&B and lounge management is a definite advantage
- Good knowledge of international lounge business and sound financial management ability with excellent time management skills
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in driving revenue growth and business performance
- Demonstrated experience in full P&L management and financial accountability
- Proven track record in turnaround situations, improving performance in underperforming or loss-making markets (highly preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills in guiding insight synthesis and identifying opportunities
- Strong managerial ability especially in coaching, team development, cross-team cooperation and project management
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
