Overview
As General Manager for the German subsidiary, you will lead commercial and operational performance in a key European market. You will align local activities with the group strategy, drive sustainable growth, and oversee financials, customer lifecycle, and cross‑functional collaboration. This is a strategic, P&L‑oriented role requiring entrepreneurial leadership and strong stakeholder management. You will shape the German market approach and act as the company’s face to key clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all commercial and operational activities of the German subsidiary
- Define and execute the local commercial strategy aligned with Group guidelines
- Drive revenue, margin, and KPI targets
- Coordinate a local support team (sales support, customer service, back office)
- Oversee the full customer lifecycle (acquisition, retention, development)
- Manage P&L, budgeting, and cost control for the branch
- Collaborate with central functions (Sales, R&D, Finance, Operations) to align Group strategy with local needs
- Represent the company in the local market and build relationships with key clients and partners
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
- Significant experience in Branch Management or senior commercial leadership roles
- Proven success in driving sales growth and profitability
- Strong commercial acumen and expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic thinkingDeep understanding of sales processes and KPI‑driven performance management
- Leadership style focused on results, accountability, and team development
- Native‑level German and fluent English (additional languages a plus)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- High degree of autonomy, ownership, and entrepreneurial drive
- Candidate based in Germany
