Responsibilities

  • Lead all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, optimized financial performance, and a motivated, high‑performing team.
  • Manage daily operations, drive commercial strategies and maintain the quality standards of Pestana Hotel Group.
  • Ensure high‑quality service standards across all departments.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team, creating a positive and effective work culture.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and interpret financial reports to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, address their concerns, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, partners, and event planners.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards.
  • Monitor property inspections, maintenance needs, and operational risks.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between departments and alignment with Pestana Hotel Group standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or General Manager, ideally in a luxury or upscale hotel.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a strategic mindset.
  • Reliability, organisation, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of hotel management systems is an advantage.
  • Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Right to work in Italy.
  • Willingness to pursue further professional growth opportunities in other geographical locations.
