General Accounting & Treasury Manager
The General Accounting & Treasury Manager will oversee general accounting practices, treasury operations, and accurate financial reporting. This position contributes to strategic financial decision-making and ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role will include strong relations with LVMH central teams. The position is based at Rome HQ.
Job Responsibilities
General Accounting:
- Supervise and manage accounting processes, fiscal records, and financial report preparation.
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the Italian entities, including the Holding Company.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes, including transaction recording, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with all FENDI departments to provide financial information and insights.
- Direct tax fulfillments for HQ entities area and management of related activities.
- Governance of the General Accounting and Fixed Assets worldwide company core model.
- Manage Due Diligence activities.
- Ensure the preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits, with external auditors.
Treasury:
- Optimize global liquidity through concentration structures and intercompany funding.
- Monitor working capital performance and support cash flow improvement initiatives.
- Lead relationships with banking partners, negotiating fees and services.
- Oversee bank account structures and authorized signatory governance.
- Assess and mitigate foreign currency risk, manage debt obligations and covenant compliance.
- Governance of the WW payment system and bank master data.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar management position within an international group, preferably in luxury retail.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and PowerBI.
- Expertise in remote banking usage.
- Strong financial acumen, risk awareness, and expert in financial regulations and compliance, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
