Job Description

We are looking for a: Processes & Governance Manager who is available for an indicative period of two years in the UK, before returning to one of Leonardo Italia's sites.

Responsibilities

Define and oversee programme processes ensuring that they meet required standards. Establish a governance framework that supports processes definition, execution, and implementation. Define and administer the programme governance model, its maturation and effectiveness.

Accountabilities

  • Define and implement standardized governance processes;
  • Provide overall governance and of the PM policy, process and procedure suite and its integration;
  • Ensure that processes, procedures and guidelines are clearly defined and mapped, applied configuration and change controls;
  • Collaborate with Internal Assurance Team to monitor compliance;
  • Support continuous improvement of governance processes;
  • Ensure governance requirements are communicated and understood across the programme;
  • Develop standard operating procedures and guidelines;
  • Leadership and management of the process and governance team;
  • Establish strategic roadmap for PM&C operational capability;
  • Manage team performance and code of conduct in accordance with the company;
  • Develop process, procedure and work instruction strategy to support the business evolution.

Objectives (Sample)

  • Establish a governance framework;
  • Improve organizational performance by aligning processes with strategic goals;
  • Establish and administer the configuration control for all PM&C related processes, procedures and work instructions;
  • Provide accurate process confirmation KPIs and efficiency outputs to support business operational health;
  • Establish the PM&C roadmap to full operational capability;
  • Deliver the full operating capability processes, procedures & work instructions as required by the programme;
  • Provide the functional centre of excellence for G&A from a PM&C perspective.

Requirements

  • Professional certifications; example: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM (Association for Project Management);
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in relevant subject.

Essential

  • Leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team and engaging with several stakeholders;
  • Ability to establish governance framework, models, standards, processes templates and review cycles;
  • Relevant Experience in developing, implementing and improvement of processes across projects/programmes;
  • 5 -10 years of proven experience in the role;
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards (example: ISO);
  • Excellent knowledge of business management system and Office tools and solutions used for processes development and management.

Desirable

  • Experience in complex programmes;
  • Professional experience in audit/quality.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
