Garment Production Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Garment Production Consultant to support and oversee key stages of garment development and production. This role is advisory and quality-focused, working alongside selected manufacturers to ensure all production aligns strictly with ILONÁ’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Sampling Oversight

• Review and assess prototypes, PPS (Pre-Production Samples), and final samples.
• Ensure all samples meet approved specifications (fabric, construction, fit, finishing).
• Flag any deviations or quality risks before production begins.

Technical & Quality Control

• Evaluate garment construction methods, stitching, lining, hardware, and finishes.
• Ensure consistency between approved samples and bulk production standards.
• Provide technical feedback to manufacturers for corrections or improvements.

Factory & Supplier Coordination

• Liaise with selected manufacturers strictly on production quality and timelines.
• Confirm that materials and construction methods align with approved standards.
• Support factory alignment without assuming decision-making authority.

Documentation & Reporting

• Provide clear written feedback on samples and production readiness.
• Support the creation of quality benchmarks and production checklists.
• Assist in defining production standards for future collections.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years experience in garment production or technical consulting for luxury brands.
• Strong background in tailoring, structured garments, and high-end finishes.
• Experience working with Italian or European luxury manufacturers.
• Familiar with production processes used by top-tier fashion houses.
• Highly detail-oriented, calm, precise, and professional.
• Understands hierarchy and works collaboratively with founders and teams.

Salary: €2000-€2500

for 3-4 visits on site per month from sampling till production depending on experience.

contract 3 months but renewable.
