ABOUT US: Mavel Edt is a company specialized in the design and manufacture of electric motors and inverters for mobility.
PURPOSE: Mavel Edt has started a process of reorganization and international expansion that provides for the development of the Group.
We are looking for a Functional Safety Manager to lead ISO 26262 activities on an automotive project with ASIL D targets:
senior and structured safety leader able to guide the project from a functional safety perspective and interface effectively with internal teams, customers and external partners. About the role The role will follow and coordinate functional safety planning, safety work products, technical reviews and interfaces with internal teams and external safety stakeholders. Key responsibilities ·
Lead functional safety activities according to ISO 26262. ·
Define and maintain safety planning, safety case structure and confirmation measures. ·
Coordinate safety reviews, audits, assessments, verification and confirmation activities. ·
Work with system, software, testing and project management teams to ensure safety consistency across the development lifecycle. ·
Manage technical interfaces with external functional safety partners. ·
Conduct and manage weekly meetings with stakeholders to monitor project progress, align priorities, and address key issues Required skills and experience ·
Solid experience in automotive functional safety. ·
Strong knowledge of ISO 26262. ·
Experience with ASIL C/D projects, ideally ASIL D. ·
Ability to manage safety plans, safety analyses and safety work products. ·
Strong coordination and communication skills in cross-functional technical environments. ·
Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to conduct weekly meetings and interact effectively with international stakeholders. Nice to have ·
Experience with inverter, e-powertrain, motor control or ECU projects. ·
Functional safety certification. ·
Knowledge of ASPICE and OEM/Tier 1 development processes.
We offer • Direct employment with the company on a permanent contract; • An annual gross salary of approximately between € 50,000 and € 55,000; • Flexible working hours; • Meal vouchers.
