Automotive Infotainment - Function Owner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Function Owner Consultant to oversee the integration of a new infotainment system into a specific vehicle platform within the automotive sector. As a Function Owner, you will be technically responsible for ensuring the assigned function operates seamlessly according to requirements, adapting them as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and update technical and functional requirements.
• Create and manage change requests.
• Oversee test specification design and execution, working with a dedicated testing team.
• Identify and manage defects, ensuring fixes are implemented in official software releases.
• Generate regular reports on planned changes, project milestones, and defect statistics.
• Document meeting minutes, teleconferences, and agreements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in the automotive industry.
• Extensive knowledge of embedded products, media infotainment, audio, VR, Bluetooth, CAN connectivity, HMI Tuner, Navigation, and other automotive-related features.
• Experience in test execution management.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including systems engineering, integration, and testing.
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in designing and integrating backend services.
• Strong knowledge of change management processes.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Framework (Jira & Confluence).
• In-depth knowledge of automotive architectures and communication protocols.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux, especially bash/shell scripting.
• Excellent English communication skills (mandatory).
• driving license B
• Nice to have: Italian or German language skills.
• Nice to have: Proto driving license.

• Location: Turin AREA / Remote, with travel to Europe.
