The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the international DSR Hotel Holding group, is a 4-star hotel situated in Alagna Valsesia, near Monte Rosa, with two tourist seasons: during the winter season, from December to March, the hotel is a leading destination for a holiday centred on snow sports and relaxation in the spa; during the summer season, from June to September, it is the ideal place for those seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature and for those who love hiking with breathtaking views of the mountains.
For the coming seasons, we are looking for a professional to join our team as
Front Office Manager
from the end of November 2026 . Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead and manage all front office operations, including check-ins and check-outs, managing room availability in coordination with the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, up-selling and marketing initiatives, and monitoring costs and profitability. They ensure the correct application within the department of the service and quality standards defined by the Group and ensure that the entire team strictly adheres to health and safety regulations. Welcomes and meets guests, ensures their needs are met throughout their stay by anticipating and responding to requests, enquiries and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner, and either deals directly with any complaints or issues or reports them to the relevant department and the General Manager. Monitors Front Office activities relating to discounts and invoices, ensuring compliance with hotel policies. Assesses service trends and guest satisfaction by analysing areas for improvement and implementing the necessary changes. Manages Front Office staff correctly, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), by drawing up rota schedules that optimise working hours, collaborating with the General Manager and Human Resources Management on the required administrative tasks, and ensuring the training and development of every member of the department. Requirements
At least 3 years’ proven experience in the role, preferably in 4- or 5-star hotels. Leadership and the ability to motivate the team, organisational and problem-solving skills, a focus on quality, and expertise in the accounting management of front office operations. Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the main hotel management software packages (Protel PMS, Opera PMS). Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work at weekends or on public holidays, if necessary. Offer
