In line with the EMEA data center vertical strategy, you will develop long‑term customer relationships with consulting engineers, design & build contractors, hyperscalers and colocation operators to create Fire & Security Systems related pipeline for the EMEA region. You will maximize account penetration of assigned accounts by serving the full spectrum of Fire & Security Systems solutions needed, leveraging Johnson Controls’ broad portfolio of fire & security solutions (Fire, Access Control & Intrusion, Perimeter Security, Visitor Management, CCTV & Video Management) offerings.ResponsibilitiesBuild partnering relationships with assigned Data Center customers (C, VP and operational levels) and consulting engineers to earn basis of design (BOD), influence specifications, and lead account and project strategies.Develop and continually refine Account Management Plans to achieve account share growth across the full line card of Fire & Security Systems offerings.Maintain frequent face‑to‑face or virtual contact with the customers who most directly influence decisions.Actively listen, probe, identify and address concerns; understand the customer's business and speak their language.Drive specifications towards the full spectrum of Johnson Controls offerings with consulting engineers, design build contractors, hyperscalers and colocation operators, earning BoD status and influencing written specifications.Lead collaborative efforts with regional offices, global product and other JCI teams to pursue projects based on account assignments.Develop relationships with internal support, sales, operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction and quickly address issues.Conduct technical presentations on JCI offerings and act as a subject‑matter expert to assigned accounts.Leverage applicable sales tools (Salesforce CRM, Altify, STAR Account Plan reviews, etc.) to plan, build pipeline of opportunity, document progress and increase account penetration.Provide feedback to management and factory teams on activities in the field, including customer perception of JCI products, competitive moves, industry trends and pipeline information.Support the pre‑bid, bid (DoA) and post‑bid processes to set regional teams up for successful delivery and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.Own and facilitate customer relationships through regular cadence, QBRs and on‑site/virtual meetings, initiating technology innovation sessions with consulting engineers and aligning with global teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.Proven track record of achieving Fire & Security Systems sales targets for the past 5 years in a B2B setting.Ability to adapt and flex while influencing and guiding customers with a consultative approach.Experience working in a matrix environment as an individual contributor.To be based in/around the FLAP‑D markets.Ability to travel between 25%–50% of the time, both local and within EMEA.Valid EU/UK driving license.Fluent language skills in English.Experience with Salesforce, Altify and day‑to‑day software solutions (Outlook, Office, Teams, etc.).Preferred5 years of experience selling Fire & Security Systems solutions within the data centers industry.Existing network/relationships within the data centers industry (consulting engineers, contractors, hyperscalers and colocation operators), specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.Experience communicating effectively across multiple cultures.What we offerImagine a career that perpetually stretches your capabilities.
