Freelance Recruiter (Logistics & Supply Chain)

About JD Logistics JD Logistics is one of the world's leading integrated supply chain and logistics providers, delivering end-to-end logistics solutions across warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery. As part of our continued expansion in Southern Europe, we are looking for a Freelance Recruiter to support hiring activities across logistics, warehousing, transportation, engineering, and last-mile delivery functions. This is an initial 3–6 month engagement with the possibility of extension based on business needs. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for operational, specialist, and management positions. Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach. Conduct candidate screening and initial interviews. Coordinate interviews and hiring activities with business stakeholders. Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Conduct talent mapping and provide market insights on the local logistics sector. Provide salary benchmarking and competitor hiring intelligence when required. Support employer branding and recruitment events when required. Support recruitment activities across Italy and potentially other Southern European markets. Requirements Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, executive search, or sourcing. Experience recruiting within logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, e-commerce, manufacturing, or related sectors is preferred. Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities. Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects independently. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Good understanding of the Italian talent market. Fluent Italian is required. Fluent English is required. Spanish language skills would be a strong advantage. Ability to issue invoices as a freelancer or through a registered business entity.

Working Arrangement This engagement follows a hybrid working model. The recruiter is expected to spend approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in the Milan area to support recruitment activities, candidate interviews, stakeholder meetings, and hiring events, with the remaining time worked remotely.
