POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Python Developer (freelance/P.IVA) to support the development of new features to be integrated into LivGemini’s medical software platform LivSpace. The selected candidate will work closely with our development team to design, implement and test new features that will enhance our software suite, ensuring scalability, maintainability and compliance with coding best practices and regulatory standards.

ABOUT LIVGEMINI
LivGemini is an innovative start-up based in Italy focused on developing software solutions based on AI and computational modeling to support radiologist and cardiovascular surgeons in diagnosis and pre-operative planning. ABOUT THE JOB
The candidate will:
· Design and develop new Python features for LivSpace with a strong focus on data ingestion pipelines, database schemas and APIs to store and retrieve imaging datasets (CT DICOM) and associated metadata.
· Contribute to software design activities ensuring clean architecture and modularity.
· Implement and execute unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the code.
· Collaborate with the internal team to align developments with system integration needs.
· Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of software quality.
The position collaboration will be structured as a freelance contract, with a planned end in February 2026. The Contractor remains free to determine the place and timing of performance, subject only to participation in agreed online coordination meetings and achievement of project milestones.
The position is expected to start on October 1st, 2025. Prior to contract signing, the Parties will define and agree upon all Deliverables, Milestones and KPIs, including acceptance criteria. A mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be executed in addition to the service agreement.

COMPENSATION
Model: payment upon milestone completion and acceptance.
Indicative fee range: €12,000 – €15,000 for the overall engagement, depending on seniority and portfolio fit.
Payment terms: 30 days from invoice date.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE
· Proven experience in Python development.
· Previous experiences in software design principles.
· Experience with unit testing framework (pytest).
· Familiarity with version control system (Git).
· Familiarity with CRM tools (Atlassian) and documentation tools.
· Nice to have - Familiarity with PySide6/QT or similar GUI frameworks.
· Nice to have - Knowledge of medical imaging libraries (e.g., pydicom, VTK).
