Fractional Legal Specialist - Fully-remote and/or on-site

Role Description

GCC is currently seeking a Fractional Legal Specialist to join its team in Milan, albeit the position can be fully remote.

The position is designed for an Italian lawyer, registered at the Bar, who has already established an independent professional practice and is looking to expand it in a strategic direction.

The fractional model works best when embraced as a deliberate professional choice, not as a transitional arrangement. Candidates who approach this opportunity with a long-term perspective will be considered with priority.

The role offers flexible working arrangements: full-time on-site in Milan or part-time fully remote, with a defined monthly engagement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting senior advisors addressing clients needs, on a broad range of legal and governance matters, drafting and reviewing contracts including international agreements, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and communicating legal guidance clearly to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fuency in English and Italian; understanding of further languages will be a plus;
• Academic background of distinction: doctoral degree, advanced postgraduate studies, or preparation for magistracy or notary examinations is preferred;
• Alternatively, proficiency in core legal disciplines including corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, as well as experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including international contracts;
• Strong communication skills and empathy;
• Capacity to work independently and manage client relationships with autonomy.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience and aligned with market rates for fractional management consulting engagements. The structure reflects the professional standing of the role and the seniority of the candidates the firm is seeking.
