This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Fractional HR Manager / HR Business Partner in Italy.

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership while also delivering hands‑on HR support across the organization. You will play a key role in building and scaling people operations, ensuring that HR practices evolve alongside business growth. Working in a fully remote and dynamic environment, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance employee experience, strengthen culture, and drive organisational effectiveness.

Accountabilities

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership, supporting decision‑making on organisational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and documentation to support scalable operations
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, engagement, and off‑boarding
  • Advise on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and compliant handling of workplace issues
  • Design and enhance performance management frameworks, feedback systems, and development processes
  • Support compensation strategy, retention initiatives, and overall employee experience improvements
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and process consistency
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to support hiring efforts and workforce expansion
  • Foster a strong, inclusive company culture aligned with organisational values and goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles
  • Proven experience supporting remote or distributed teams in a global environment
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including employee lifecycle management and HR compliance
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑paced, scaling organisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leadership
  • Experience building HR processes, frameworks, and documentation from scratch
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and people operations tools
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • High level of autonomy, adaptability, and proactive mindset
