About us

Toolhouse connects AI to the real world. We exist to let everyone build and deploy them on an optimized production-grade platform. Think of Vercel, but for the AI stack. We cater to both vibe coders (via our Agent Studio product) and software engineers (via our CLI and Toolhouse SDK).

Toolhouse is founded by former Meta, X, and Coinbase leaders. Our investors include 500 Global, Chris Messina (inventor of the hashtag), individuals at Meta, and more. Our partners include Groq, Cloudflare, and Qualcomm.

About the job

We’re looking for our first Founding Engineer. As a founding role, you will be crucial in executing the Toolhouse roadmap and in growing and scaling the Engineering team.

• Work with the founders in defining and prioritizing the roadmap
• Run and scale the engineering team, including leading standups, organizing the backlog, and ensuring the team is happy and performs well
• Make architectural, design, and infrastructural decisions

You will report directly to Daniele, our CEO.

About you

• You want to write code yourself.
• You have worked in a startup before.
• You’re passionate about shipping fast and efficiently.
• You can turn product requirements into tickets, manage standups, and make sure you and the team delivers on time.
• You have used Vite, Next.js, Node.js and Python, and you shipped on AWS, Google Cloud or other cloud platforms.
• You are now actively using AI coding tools in your day-to-day.
• You have strong communication skills (we are an international team and use English as our first language.)
