Own the Italian market from the ground up at a European energy intelligence leader, turning a strong foothold into a flagship territory.

Your strategic impact Italy is one of the most important growth markets for this European energy intelligence scale-up, and this role sits at the centre of that ambition. Today the territory holds around 70-100 customers against an addressable market closer to 500, giving you exceptional room to build. Working in a blended motion of roughly 30% inbound and 70% outbound, you will help drive a company-wide wide growth over the coming period. This is a genuinely founding commercial role in a market that is still being shaped.

The team you'll join You will work alongside two commercial colleagues who currently cover Italy. The culture carries a strong Scandinavian influence: collaborative, democratic, and people-first, with a real emphasis on making colleagues feel at home while working hard together. Expect close daily contact with your manager and teammate, a genuine team effort rather than a lone-wolf setup, and support from analysts who go deep on the product so you can focus on relationships.

What success looks like The first 6-12 months centre on learning the products, customers, processes and energy market while supporting the team with customer follow-ups, trials, onboarding and pipeline development. This ramp-up period is deliberately front-loaded so you build strong foundations before carrying a full number. By year two, expect to own a target in the region of €250k-€300k ARR, with deal sizes typically between €10k and €50k and clear scope for upsell and cross-sell.

How you'll develop You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from an experienced manager and colleague who invest real time in bringing people up to speed. This is a place to grow into a trusted advisor within the Italian energy ecosystem, working with highly intelligent and influential stakeholders.

What you bring You are relationship-driven, commercially curious and comfortable holding your own with senior, market-savvy stakeholders. Structure and discipline matter here, as there is real reporting and process work alongside client-facing selling. Minimum 3 years of B2B SaaS/Energy sales experience, ideally 3-7 years in a relevant commercial role Full-cycle sales experience including outbound prospecting and upsell or cross-sell Fluent Italian and English Willingness to learn a complex, analytical product portfolio in energy or market data Comfort with outbound activity and regular travel to events and customer visits Strong CRM discipline and a structured, self-motivated approach
