Location:

Full-Time
Salary Range:
€28,000 - €35,000
Join ORiS and help build the future of energy in space.
At ORiS, we are building the technologies that will power the next generation of space missions. Through laser-based wireless power transmission, we aim to overcome the energy limitations of today’s satellites and enable longer, more capable, and more resilient operations in orbit.
We are looking for a Founder’s Associate – AI & Operations to work closely with ORiS’s CEO and COO and help improve how the entire company operates.
You will support the founders across strategic, operational, and organisational priorities, while leading the practical adoption of AI tools and automated workflows across ORiS. You will work with teams ranging from Engineering and HR to Business Development, Finance, and Marketing to understand their processes, identify repetitive or inefficient activities, and implement AI-powered routines that improve productivity, information management, and decision-making.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who combines strong execution, technological curiosity, and the ability to turn loosely defined needs into practical processes, tools, and outcomes.
What You Will Do
Support the CEO and COO in managing strategic, operational, and organisational priorities, including research, analysis, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and special projects.
Translate decisions and discussions involving the founders into clear actions, owners, deadlines, and internal communications.
Work with Engineering, HR, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, and other teams to map workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Design and implement AI agents, automated routines, and internal workflows that reduce repetitive work and improve team productivity.
Configure and connect AI, no-code, project-management, CRM, and knowledge-management tools to support company processes.
Develop practical use cases such as document generation, information retrieval, reporting, meeting follow-ups, data organisation, lead management, and internal knowledge sharing.
Train and support team members in the effective and responsible use of AI tools, ensuring that new routines are adopted and maintained.
Monitor the performance of implemented processes and automations, collect feedback, and continuously improve them.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure that critical actions, relationships, and company priorities are properly tracked.
Prepare analyses, presentations, reports, and decision-support materials for the CEO and COO.
What We Are Looking For
BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Management, or related fields.
Up to 2 years of experience in a startup, consulting, operations, digital transformation, automation, or another fast-paced environment.
Strong familiarity with generative AI tools and the ability to build practical AI-assisted workflows.
Ability to analyse an existing process, identify inefficiencies, and translate them into clear operational improvements.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Proactive, hands-on, and highly autonomous approach to execution.
Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
Experience building AI agents, prompt-based workflows, or automation using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or equivalent platforms.
Experience with CRM, project management, knowledge management, and collaboration platforms.
Understanding data privacy, information security, and responsible AI use in a company environment.
Previous experience in deep-tech, aerospace, defence, engineering, or another highly technical organisation.
Experience supporting founders, senior executives, or cross-functional strategic projects.
Why ORiS Get direct exposure to how a pioneering company in space-based energy is built and run.
