This role will perform its duties on assignment at the site in Lagos, Nigeria.
Mission:
Ensure accurate administration, financial management, and cost control for the assigned site in Nigeria, in compliance with Group policies and local regulations. Support project teams and corporate functions in all AFC-related activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Administration:
- Oversee local accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Ensure compliance with Group standards and Nigerian statutory requirements.
- Financial Reporting & Control:
- Prepare and manage statutory financial statements and internal reporting as per Group guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze cost structures, ensuring proper allocation and optimization of cost centers.
Cash Flow & Treasury:
- Manage cash flow forecasting and control, highlighting deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Support treasury activities, including vendor bonds and LC management, in coordination with Corporate Treasury.
Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) in collaboration with local advisors and Group Fiscal Affairs.
Project Support:
- Provide AFC support to project teams for budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial planning.
- Assist in commercial activities related to new projects in Nigeria, ensuring proper financial evaluation.
Cost Analysis:
- Supervise cost formation processes and maintain cost allocation cycles.
- Prepare analytical reports for management decision-making.
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administration, finance, and cost control, preferably in industrial or EPC projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
