Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and structured F&B Manager to join our team at Mangia's Sardinia Resort - Marriott Brand, located in Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Food & Beverage department, ensuring operational excellence, team engagement, and guest satisfaction through strategic planning and daily supervision.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the master operational plan based on occupancy forecasts and group pricing
- Lead daily afternoon briefings with department heads to align on service priorities and challenges
- Foster a culture of belonging and motivation aligned with Mangia’s service philosophy
- Ensure seamless interdepartmental communication to support operational flow
- Supervise daily F&B operations, including staffing, cleanliness, and service standards
- Monitor guest experience and satisfaction across all touchpoints
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance and service delivery
- Initiate improvement projects to elevate quality and efficiency
- Manage cost control activities including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
- Submit reports and performance updates to senior management
- Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Implement upselling strategies and pricing policies to optimize revenue
- Ensure documentation and licensing are up to date and aligned with internal processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in F&B management within upscale or luxury hospitality environments
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive performance
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus
- Passion for service excellence and continuous improvement
