FMCG Plant Director: Lead Safety, P&L & Growth

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the FMCG industry to find a Plant Director for their Italian production site in Cressa.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced industrial manager ready to take full ownership of a complex, high-performance plant.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Group leadership, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of functional and operational managers to deliver on safety, quality and productivity targets

• Own the plant’s P&L and operating budget, optimizing resource allocation across all functions

• Drive performance across production efficiency, maintenance, supply chain, cost control and HSEQ

• Define and implement operational policies aligned with corporate strategy

• Ensure full compliance with legal, environmental and health & safety regulations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and employee representatives

• Evaluate and support capex initiatives related to safety, equipment and operational efficiency

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

• 5+ years in a senior plant leadership role within industrial manufacturing

• Background in continuous production environments is a strong plus

• Experience in FMCG is preferred

• Strong problem-solving, conflict management and leadership skills

• Fluent in English
