Flow Business Development Manager

Specialista Senior / Project Manager

In this role you drive new business opportunities for Emerson’s flow measurement solutions by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to demonstrate value and secure strategic accounts. You’ll lead technical discussions, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and enable the sales force with market insights and training. You’ll stay ahead of industry trends, capture customer feedback to guide product development, and track progress in CRM to hit bookings targets. This position combines technical depth with sales leadership in a growth‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for assigned products/solutions
• Act as technical counterpart to customer experts; lead technical discussions and support sales through presentations
• Conduct product demonstrations and manage customer tests/validations
• Collaborate with Account Managers to develop high‑value actions for key accounts; enable repeatable sales
• Monitor market trends, conditions, and competitor activity to sustain competitiveness
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product development
• Maintain accurate activity and progress records in CRM or similar tools
• Achieve bookings targets through product and sales support strategies aligned with country/unit goals
• Provide sales enablement through training on products, applications, competition, and market dynamics
• Translate new business opportunities into action plans with success metrics
• Define and implement pricing strategies and DoA levels
• Operate in compliance with Emerson Trade Compliance, Quality procedures, and ethics code

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years in process automation; at least 3 years in sales/marketing
• Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and digital technologies
• Excellent English and native-level Italian (written and spoken)
