What You’ll Do:
- Provide analytical support, technical assistance, and software training for new and existing clients across North America and Europe via phone, e‑mail, and VoIP channels.
- Serve as the first line of defense for production‑critical issues for EMEA clients, using knowledge of computing and fixed‑income markets to solve challenging problems.
- Consult on issues ranging from general system usage to sophisticated numerical problems.
- Act as a link between developers and clients to analyse product gaps, expand program functionality, and help prioritise business requirements.
- Help develop and execute a comprehensive quality assurance suite implementing industry‑standard quality assurance procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- BA/BS degree (or regional equivalent) in a quantitative or STEM discipline such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical sciences, etc.
- Analytical experience using a data‑driven approach to solve problems and create customer insight.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences in English.
- Experience navigating complex cross‑functional landscapes in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
- Strong computer skills:
- Hands‑on experience with Windows, including Windows network administration, filesystems, and computer architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including automation and scripting through Excel functions and macros.
- Continuous eagerness to learn with an independent drive for researching and synthesising complex concepts.
Extra Credit:
- Proficiency with Python via Visual Studio Code.
- Proficiency with SQL and database architecture using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with cloud computing including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Ubuntu Linux, including knowledge of Linux filesystem, shell scripting (bash/vim/emacs), and permissions.
- Relevant coursework or internship experience in macroeconomics, quantitative finance, or related discipline covering bonds, options, and other derivatives.
Where You’ll Work:
This role is for candidates who live within commuting distance of our Milan office at Via San Raffaele 1, 20121 Milan.
