From the Sunset Hotels & Resorts division, we are seeking a creative, strategic, and brand-oriented Fitness & Wellness Manager in Madison House Milan , right in the heart of Milan.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the fitness and wellness offering from the pre-opening phase, ensuring alignment with the club’s positioning and brand standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all fitness and wellness areas, maintaining premium service quality, safety protocols and operational excellence.
• Design, coordinate and supervise group classes, personal training services and holistic wellness programs tailored to members’ needs.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage the fitness and wellness team, fostering a high-performance, motivated and service-oriented culture.
• Create bespoke fitness and wellness programs for members, collecting feedback and monitoring performance to continuously improve the offering.
• Collaborate closely with Membership, Events and other departments to deliver integrated initiatives that enhance member engagement and retention.
• Establish and manage partnerships with wellness brands, local businesses and industry professionals to enrich the club’s wellness ecosystem.
• Define, manage and monitor the departmental budget, ensuring cost control, resource optimization and financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Sports Science, Sports Management or related field.
• International certifications in fitness (ACE, NASM, ISSA) or Italian equivalents (FIPE, CONI, CSEN).
• Additional courses in management, hospitality or wellness are a plus.
• 3–5 years of managerial experience in gyms, wellness clubs or luxury hotels.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver highly personalized service.
• Proficiency with gym management software and booking systems.
