Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++
• Support the Software Team in the development and validation of control algorithms
• Design and simulate control strategies using tools like PLECS and Simulink
• Validate algorithms both in simulation and on real hardware
• Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to ensure seamless integration
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of control performance and system reliability
• Produce clear documentation including specifications, test reports, and user manuals

What We Expect From You

• Firmware & Control Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer
• M.Sc in Software, Electronics, Automation Engineering or similar fields
• Proven experience in Firmware development
• Strong knowledge of embedded programming in C/C++
• Familiarity with simulation environments like PLECS and Simulink
• Experience with microcontrollers (NXP, ST)
• Automotive background is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong motivation with the Employeneurship model
