Role Description;
The Fired Equipment Engineer is assigned to the project to prepare the basic documents and deliverables of competence, ensuring compliance with the design, contractual requirements, and the schedule, under the supervision of the Responsible and Senior roles.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Following the guidelines of the Responsible, the Fired Equipment Engineer has the following main responsibilities:
- Produce deliverables (e.g. material requisition (M.R.) for bid injury, mechanical data sheets (R.F.Q.) and technical tabulation), necessary for the Fired Equipment Management and in accordance with the quality requirements and in compliance with the contractual requirements and company standards, under the supervision of the Senior roles;
- Assist the Responsible or the Senior roles in the preparation and updating of the document system with respect to the Fired Equipment discipline;
- Cooperate, with Senior roles, in the preparation, updating and editing of internal norms and standards necessary for the Fired Equipment Management;
- Provide support and participation in the phases of construction, testing, assembly and starting up, if required by the Responsible;
- Participate to technical training and exchange experiences, lesson learnt and new Design techniques with colleagues of the Group;
- Support in the identification of the Fired Equipment, ensuring compliance with technological, technical, contractual and economic requirements;
- Support the Senior roles in monitoring the supply development, also by creating final reports, if requested, and supporting in the necessary technical communication with Vendor;
- Keep himself/herself up-to-date on market offering and the required standards to be used.
According to the complexity of the activities managed and level of autonomy, the above-mentioned activities are assigned to the Fired Equipment Senior Engineer.
Personal Skills and Attributes:
- High School Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Discipline
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Good knowledge of English language;
- Open-minded;
- Adaptability skills;
- Effective team player;
- Willingness to take initiative.
