Finops Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a FinOps Analyst to join our FinOps team and support the optimization, governance, and financial management of our multi‑cloud environment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with cloud cost management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend across multiple cloud providers.
• Produce cost reports, dashboards, and periodic financial reviews (actuals vs forecast).
• Support the implementation of FinOps best practices, including cost allocation, budgeting, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Finance teams to ensure transparent and accurate cost governance.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executives.
• Contribute to the development and automation of cost‑optimization workflows and alerts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Governance role.
• Foundational knowledge of at least two cloud providers (preferably Azure and OCI ).
• Strong numerical, financial, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and senior‑level executives.
• Good understanding of cloud billing models, pricing structures, and cost‑management methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with FOCUS (FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification).
• Familiarity with automation tools, tagging governance, or cost‑optimization frameworks.
• Exposure to AI‑based anomaly detection or FinOps‑related automation.
