Responsibilities
- Design and optimize training material within the Handling & Logistics process
- Analyze AS IS and future state of training material and systems
- Create process roadmaps and plans for future states
- Define training material requirements and specifications if material shall be developed by others
- Standardize generic layup training materials
- Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility
- Investigate and solve training issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys and Fishbone Diagrams
- Apply continuous improvement principles using Lean tools to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final training material quality
Education
- Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Train the Trainer or other training education
Experience
- 6-8 years of developing training material mainly for unskilled workers
- Training of shop floor employees
- Planning of training for up to 100 persons
- Developed/defined functional training material for employees with a short or long education
Essential skills
- Ability to assess skill gaps and define learning objectives aligned with business goals
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning, and experiential training formats
- Working with engineering managers and subject matter experts to co-develop content for functional training material
- Ensuring training aligns with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
- Familiarity with LMS and e-learning tools
- Gathering input from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs
- Willingness to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
- Data-driven decision making; use of tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams
- Self-motivated, result-oriented with strong organizational discipline
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones with stakeholders
- Part of cross-functional product development projects
- Customer-oriented with ability to understand the complete business value chain from a customer perspective
