Finish & Paint Training Engineer Professional

Join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization. The team is focused on developing and supporting the organization with subject‑matter experts, embedding engineering expertise directly into the manufacturing value stream to enable faster decision‑making and deeper process ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize training material within the Handling & Logistic process
• Analyze AS‑IS and future state of the training material and systems
• Create process roadmap and plans for future states
• Define training material requirements and specifications, including when to develop new material or adapt existing material
• Standardize generic layup training materials
• Investigate and solve training issues using structured methods such as 5‑Whys and Fishbone Diagrams
• Apply continuous improvement principles using Lean tools to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final training material quality

Education

• Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Training or other education in training design (e.g., Train the Trainer certificate)

Experience

• 6‑8 years of developing training material mainly for unskilled workers
• Experience training shop‑floor employees
• Planning training for up to 100 persons
• Developed and defined functional training material for employees with varying levels of education

Essential Skills

• Assess skill gaps and define learning objectives aligned with business goals
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning, and experiential training formats
• Co‑develop content with engineering managers and subject‑matter experts
• Ensure training aligns with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
• Familiarity with LMS and e‑learning tools
• Gather input from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented with great organizational discipline
• Enjoy working in a factory environment to understand and solve problems
