Financing Director

Inuka is working with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) with 5.3 GW of installed capacity under management, to appoint a Financing Director in Milan. This strategic role will focus on executing the company’s financing strategy across its growing renewable energy portfolio. With a background in project finance - ideally within investment banking or the power sector - you will lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex financing transactions across Europe. The position requires up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project financing for the development pipeline
• Manage all aspects of transaction execution, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical advisors
• Support M&A and corporate development teams with project finance input during acquisition analysis
• Drive internal deal teams to secure approvals and provide analytical support
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, including non-recourse debt, hedging, and project equity
• Strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions active in project finance
• Identify refinancing opportunities across the portfolio to enhance value or mitigate risk
• Collaborate with Treasury to ensure compliance with financial frameworks
• Guide internal teams and partners on debt structuring and its commercial implications
• Ensure compliance with lender standards, government regulations, and ESG policies
