Financial Sponsors Relationship Manager

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has a longstanding presence in Italy. We serve corporations, financial institutions, and financial sponsors active in the country, drawing on the combined expertise of our 75-plus Milan Branch team members and our global business lines.

We assist our clients in the strategic development of their businesses by providing M&A advisory, acquisition finance, capital raising in debt and equity markets, strategic equity financing, project finance for infrastructure and real estate sectors, and capital markets solutions and flow products for investment and hedging purposes across equity and fixed income asset classes. Additionally, we lead in green & sustainable finance to support clients in transitioning towards more sustainable activities.

The candidate will be actively involved in deal generation from Financial Sponsors (equity and infrastructure funds) operating in Italy :

• Maintain and establish strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to generate deal ideas, pitch, and oversee execution.
• Serve as the primary internal contact for Natixis Global Financial Sponsors Coverage team in Italy and coordinate with product teams such as M&A advisory, Acquisition and Infrastructure Finance, DCM, SECM, and Global Markets.
• Ensure support to product teams in providing high-quality services, pitching to clients, and facilitating idea generation and client access when needed.

Qualifications include significant experience working on deals with Financial Sponsors as an M&A and / or debt advisor and / or financing banker in Italy. Strong interpersonal skills with clients at senior levels and proactive relationship-building and idea generation abilities are essential.
