How You Will Contribute

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) Italy is expanding across all levels of seniority. As part of the growth of our Financial Services Industry (FSI) practice, we are looking for talented professionals to join our dynamic and fast‑growing team in Milan.

At A&M, you'll work directly with clients across the financial services spectrum – including banks, insurers, pay‑tech players, regulators, credit servicers and asset managers – helping them drive strategic growth, improve operations, and respond to complex regulatory or market challenges.

Our FSI team operates at the heart of transformative change in the financial sector, supporting clients across Europe. Whether through organic or inorganic growth strategies, restructuring efforts, or strategic reviews, your work will deliver meaningful, long‑term impact. While based in Italy, you’ll collaborate closely with a global network of professionals – including former senior executives, regulators, and expert consultants.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the industry landscape and its key dynamics
• Strong ability to analyse complex information, identify patterns, and distill insights into clear, actionable recommendations
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with confidence across both professional and informal contexts
• Proficiency in English and Italian is essential
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognised academic institution
• Flexibility to travel as required
• Self‑starter mindset, with a drive to develop new skills and apply existing strengths effectively
• Creative thinker, able to generate fresh ideas and innovative solutions to challenging problems
• Strong analytical aptitude, comfortable navigating large data sets and pinpointing critical issues in complex situations
• Collaborative approach, with a commitment to working constructively and respectfully alongside a highly skilled team
