Financial Lines Portfolio Manager – Your new role
Responsibilities
- Drive the design, development and implementation of Portfolio strategy across the value chain that aligns with the overarching strategy.
- Manage the portfolio P&L to deliver to portfolio targets.
- Lead and manage a team of employees, setting goals and objectives in alignment with the organization’s goals and creating a positive, engaging work environment.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including product, pricing and underwriting.
- Develop and drive product strategies to underpin product profitability and sustainable growth.
- Lead, manage, coach and mentor the team to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximise influence.
- Deliver efficient, accurate and timely management information to support decision-making.
- Translate strategies and plans into operational objectives for the business unit.
- Develop networks and relationships internally and externally to ensure seamless delivery of the insurance value chain.
About You
- Financial Lines Underwriting Team management experience
- Management Liability and Financial Institutions underwriting experience
- People management – ability to engage and lead a team
- Deep knowledge of local market in the Financial Lines segment
- Strong organizational, analytical and prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and use for decision-making
- Strong attention to detail
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
