Financial Controller

Mandatory: Italian & English language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:

Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

Coordinating and managing the budget process, developing financial forecasts, and analyzing variances.

• Internal Controls:

Implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Financial Analysis:

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support decision-making.

• Team Management:

Managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, delegating tasks, and ensuring team performance.

• Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

• Strategic Planning:

Contributing to the development of the company's financial strategy and long-term financial goals.

• Cash Flow Management:

Monitoring and managing the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity.

In smaller companies:

• Financial controllers may be the sole accounting professional, overseeing all aspects of the accounting function.
• They may report directly to the CEO.
