Financial Controller/ Head of Finance - Hospitality/ Hotels

*please note - this role will require you to spend time in the Middle East, given the ownership structure*

Representing a Middle Eastern investment and holding group, that own a global hotel portfolio. Hiring a finance professional that can own the numbers across both the group investment side, and the operating assets.

What you'd own:

• Monthly close and management reporting across every entity, consolidated into one group view
• Property-level reporting including USALI, with operational systems integrated
• Financial controls, bank reconciliations, payment runs and treasury across multiple jurisdictions
• Reporting to owners and investors: cash flow, capex, intercompany, distributions
• Bringing outsourced accounting work in-house where it's cheaper and better controlled
• Financial support on acquisitions and new openings, including entity setup and getting reporting in place

This is a hands-on role, not a management one. You'll have bookkeeping and admin support, but you produce the work yourself. If you're looking for a role where you manage a team of people who do the work, this isn't it.

Who we're looking for:

• 5+ years in hotel or hospitality finance. You've closed a property's books and know USALI
• Experience across more than one entity or property
• Statutory and tax experience is a strong advantage
• Comfortable using automation and modern finance tools rather than working only in spreadsheets
• Self-sufficient.
• Fluent English essential
